Deﬁne the next ﬁve rules the same way—one for each combination of the three port

numbers and the two protocol types.

The last rule, however, will be slightly different. For Action Not Matched, select “Forward.”

Any packet that has not matched any of the six rules will be forwarded for routing.

When all six rules are deﬁned, Menu 21.1 should appear as it does in Figure 8-5. As a visual

check, make sure that all six rules contain “Y” in the A (Active) ﬁeld, “D” (Drop) in the m

(matched) ﬁeld, and “N” (next rule) in the n (not matched) ﬁeld, except for the last rule, which

should have “F” (Forward) in the n ﬁeld.

Figure 8-5 shows the Filter Rules Summary menu with all six rules deﬁned.
