Rogue AP Detection
The WG302v2 can detect rogue APs and wireless stations and exclude them from connecting to
the ProSafe 802.11g .
From the WG302v2 main menu:
1. Click Rogue AP Detection to view the page shown in Figure 3-9.
If you enable Rogue AP Detection, the AP continuously scans the wireless network and
collects information about all APs heard on its channel.
2. You can click Rescan to discover the APs.
3. Click Grant to add any AP to the Known AP List.
4. Click Delete to remove an AP from the list.
5. Click Save to export the list of known APs to a file. A window opens so you can browse to the
location where you want to save the file. The default file name is WG302Rogue.cfg
Wireless Interface Received/Transmitted
Unicast Packets The Unicast packets sent since the WG302v2 was restarted.
Broadcast Packets The Broadcast packets sent since the WG302v2 was restarted.
Multicast Packets The Multicast packets sent since the WG302v2 was restarted.
Total Packets The Wireless packets sent since the WG302v2 was restarted.
Total Bytes The Wireless bytes sent since the WG302v2 was restarted.
Refresh button Click the Refresh button to update the statistics on this screen.
