Advanced Settings
On the Settings tab, click Advanced Settings to view the Advanced Settings screen. Most people
do not need to change these settings. You may need to adjust settings if you cannot connect
without making changes, or if your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or network administrator
recommend changes. You can click the Help button for more information about advanced settings.
Wi-Fi Multimedia (WMM) is a Quality of Service (QoS) feature that prioritizes wireless data
packets based on four access categories: voice, video, best effort, and background. Applications
without WMM and applications that do not require QoS, are assigned to the best-effort category,
which receives a lower priority than voice and video.
To receive the benefits of WMM QoS:
The application must support WMM.
You must enable WMM in your wireless adapter.
You must enable WMM in your wireless access point or router.
