Manage the Extender Network and Security Settings

If your WiFi network is functioning but not on the list, your WiFi network might be hidden,

or the connection between the WiFi router and the extender might be poor. For more

information, see the following sections:

• Connect the Extender to a Hidden WiFi Network on page 31

• Improve the Connection Between the Extender and the WiFi Router on page 66

5. Select the radio button for the network to which you want to connect the extender, and click

the Continue button.

6. In the Passphrase field, enter the passphrase or key for the WiFi network, or, if your WiFi

network uses WEP

, enter the key in the Security Encryption (WEP) Key field, and click the

Continue button.

7. Use the default extension name, or, in the

2.4GHz Network Name (SSID) field, enter a new

network name for your extender WiFi network.
