4. Security Configuration

Security Profiles List

Details of each wireless network are contained in a security profile. This page lets you edit up

to eight Security Profiles per managed access point, depending on the number of profiles

each access point supports. Separate profiles are applied to 802.11 b//jointfilesconvert/31947/bg/ng and 802.11a/na

mode radios.

To view or change security profiles:

1. On the Configuration tab, select Security > Basic > Profile Settings.

2. Each Security Profile specifies:

• Name: The unique Profile name, up to 31 alphanumeric characters.

• SSID: The SSID associated with this profile.

• VLAN: The VLAN ID associated with this security profile.

• Security: The security standard, such as WPA-PSK, associated with the profile.
