NETGEAR ProSafe Switches enable optimal integration into the
network to meet a wide range of business needs:
Managed Switches enable stacking, 10 Gbit Ports, IPv6, dy-
namic routing and Power over Ethernet. They also provide ex-
tensive redundancy mechanisms for maximum availability.
Communication Switches transfer email, voice and image
data via a standardized infrastructure.
Unified Communications Switches employ a standardized
infrastructure for the service-based transfer of voice, video and
data across Wireless Access Points, IPCams and IP telephones.
Application Scenario
To facilitate extensive modifications to the company’s work pro-
cesses, hand scanners are utilized to forward data directly to the
ERP system via Wireless Access Points. Additionally, IP telephony
is introduced and IP cameras are installed inside and outside
the building to increase security. PCs, notebooks, printers and
access controls to the building and employee offices will all be
integrated via wired and wireless technology. NETGEAR ProSafe
switches enable each of these network services to be delivered
– easily and efficiently, while reducing costs.
