5. Click Apply. The new rule will appear in the Outbound Services table. The rule is
automatically enabled.
The procedure to add a new LAN DMZ inbound service policy is similar to the procedure
described above with the exception that you click Add under the Inbound Services table, you
configure the settings based on the descriptions in Table 4-2 on page 4-6, and the policy is added
to the Inbound Services table.
Inbound Rules Examples
LAN WAN Inbound Rule: Hosting a Local Public Web Server
If you host a public Web server on your local network, you can define a rule to allow inbound Web
(HTTP) requests from any outside IP address to the IP address of your Web server at any time of
day.
