uation. The line attenuation increases the farther you are physically located

from your ISP’s facilities.

ise Margin. The signal-to-noise ratio, which is a measure of the quality of the signal on

the line.

rval. The interval at which the statistics are updated in this window. Click the

Stop button to freeze the display.

Connection Status

In the Router Status screen, click the Connection Status button to display a screen similar to

this:

• Connection Time. The time elapsed since the last connection to the Internet through the

DSL port.

g to sender. The connection status.

• Negotiatio

n. On or Off.

• Authentic

ation. On or Off.

• Ge

tting IP Address. The IP address assigned to the WAN port by the ISP.

• Getting Network Mask. The

network mask assigned to the WAN port by the ISP.

View Attached Devices

The Attached Devices screen shows all IP devices that the modem router has discovered on

the local network.
