Static Address

(Netgear Switch)(Interface 1/0/1)#port-security mac-address move

Convert the dynamic address learned from 1/0/1 to the static address

(Netgear Switch)(Interface 1/0/1)#exit

(Netgear Switch)(Config)#exit

(Netgear Switch)#show port-security static 1/0/1

Number of static MAC addresses configured: 3

Statically configured MAC Address VLAN ID

00:0E:45:30:15:F3 1

00:13:46:EC:2F:62 1

00:14:6C:E8:81:23 1

Web Interface: Convert the Dynamic Address Learned from

1/0/1 to the Static Address

1. Select Security > Traffic Control > Port Security > Dynamic MAC Address.

A screen similar to the following displays.

2. Under Port Security Configuration, in the Port List field, select 1/0/1.

3. Select the Convert Dynamic

Address to Static check box.

4. Click Apply to save the settings.

Create a Static Address

The example is shown as CLI commands and as a Web interface procedure.
